About the Project
Decoding Our Lens – Teenage Mindsetsis a short documentary and social research initiative exploring how teens discover trends, what influences their choices, and how brand behavior reflects identity and belonging.
This project investigates:
• Why certain products suddenly become must-have items
• How youth learn about new brands and trends
• What makes something “cool,” “cringe,” or “over”
• How culture, city life, peers, and digital influence shape daily choices
• Differences between Vancouver and Berlin youth perspectives
Our goal is to give teens a voice, engage communities, and support educators, parents, and brands in understanding what shapes young identity today.
